Summary: This is a private lockable room with a shared bathroom, kitchen and toilet, not the “entire apartment” as stated in the advertisement. Property located on the 3rd floor. The communal hallways were dirty, poorly lit and had people smoking on the ground floor, just as you enter. Front street door doesn’t close very well, so it didn’t feel very safe or secure. Room was basic (2 single beds pushed together to make a double), but seemed clean. It did however reek of stale cigarette smoke. As an Ex-Smoker I know that smell!! Previous reviews are accurate, lots of road noise from cars and trams and poorly glazed windows, making it hard to sleep. No shampoo at all, and the shower gel was almost empty. I messaged the host to get these topped up but they wanted photos which cannot be sent by this apps messenger and this never ended up being done. By the time I left there was only a few sheets of toilet paper left. Based upon the existing reviews I double checked with the hosts before arriving and was advised toiletries were provided, but I would advise any future guests to take their own toiletries, and toilet paper, just in case. I also recommend you to take shower footwear! Very convenient for the Stadhalle but overall the area is not very nice.. just lots of kebab shops and cafes, but that’s about it. Value for money.. Eurovision weekend - Yes! Would I stay here again at any other time.. No!
