This cozy chalet is located in the still untouched Gailtal in the southern province of Carinthia, 14 kilometers from the Italian border. The house is comfortably and practically furnished. The garden, with its two terraces and stunning mountain views, is south-facing and thus enjoys sunshine nearly all day. You can conveniently park in front of the door. The favorable location of the chalet guarantees a wonderful holiday with beautiful views of the Alps and the Dolomites.
The village of Kötschach-Mauthen has traditionally been a spa town and is known for its beautiful surroundings and healing air, nestled within breathtaking mountain formations. Due to its location on the southern side of the Alps, the region experiences snowy, cold but sunny winters and warm, Italian summers. In the pristine nature with stunning mountain landscapes, you can enjoy the peace and quiet wonderfully. The Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg ski area is small but delightful and belongs to the tourist region of Nassfeld-Pressegger See. It offers a good selection of restaurants and shops, various hiking and biking trails, the Hike World with 25 themed paths, and a large swimming complex (the Aquarena water and wellness oasis).
