Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is central to the town of Ludwigslust, by a quieter road by the canal, between the town centre, and the Castle Park. There is convenient safe parking on site. The hotel is family run, to exceptionally high standards, and with friendly and courteous staff who are always ready to assist. The Library is a very pleasant place to sit, have a glass of wine, or eat. Pricing is reasonable, particularly when you consider the quality of the food, and we had breakfast and dinner in the hotel on each day of our stay. Both were of a very high standard, and the dinner menu, using much local produce, was outstanding. The wines were well chosen. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation if you are visiting the Ludwigslust - Parchim - Schwerin area.

Negative: I cannot think of any problems, even minor niggles, that we might have experienced. We have arranged a return trip.
