Enjoy the cozy atmosphere, morning coffee on the covered porch, the peaceful setting with the gentle murmur of the Mellenbach stream and birdsong in your ears, or your private sauna after an eventful day of skiing in the nearby Mellau-Damüls-Faschina ski area, featuring over 100 kilometers of slopes.
The idea for this “island of time” came from my father, Michael Kaufmann, and my brother, Matthias. Together, they run the Kaufmann carpentry and joinery business in Reuthe and wanted to build an eco-friendly home where the family itself would also enjoy living. That’s why they placed the highest priority on sustainability and the ecological qualities of the materials! For the planning, they brought on board Michael’s brother Johannes Kaufmann, an architect.
