Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It was peaceful, with a nice sitting area in the back overlooking the garden. Good location, close to the Ubahn, buses out front, Edeka in walking distance. Comfortable beds.

Negative: The property owner did not use Booking.com to communicate. We had to phone them AFTER check in time to get any response from them about check in. They refused to communicate in this site, and made us send photo ID in WhatsApp before they would release the code for the lock box to get the key. Another couple arrived just after us and they had the same problem except they had no phone data so could not message. When we arrived we noticed that the fridge was not working, and there was no freezer. We also had no bath mat and not enough towels. One power point next to the bed did not work and the other bed sidelamp had no globe. We informed them via WhatsApp and they said there was no problem and refused to help us. So for 5 days we had to keep buying ice to keep a few things cold and had no bedside power point. I did report this to Booking.com customer service and they said they contacted the owner who said they would send someone to fix the fridge but that never happened. Some other issues arose (toilet cistern, for example) but we did not bother letting the owner know because they were completely useless. No washing machine was a bit poor, also.
