Summary: This would have easily been a 5 star review but I feel like I really got the short end of the stick with this stay. I booked this specific hotel for a quick weekend getaway..6 hours away from where I live. The 2 main attractions: beachfront and hot tub. Unfortunately for us, the hotel was under construction which included the hot tub. If I had known we would wake up to banging noises in the morning, and no hot tub…I would have booked somewhere else. I wish I had known before hand. Otherwise, the hotel was nice. It was clean, staff were friendly and the room was great (maybe the shower could use a little facelift). The bed was comfortable, water pressure was substantial and we had no other issues besides the before mentioned. Maybe a small disclaimer when booking that states “this hotel is under construction” and list the amenities that are currently unavailable. I’d love to give the marriot properties another try in the future ;maybe I should call head next time to ask about the hot tub.
