The studio suite is located on lower level while the owner lives on the upper level of the home. The suite has its own private entrance and outdoor patio. My home is close to everything that Chemainus has to offer - Kin Beach and the very best Thai Restaurant in Chemainus is around the corner. Everything is within walking distance - Latte and Expresso coffee, Shopping,, a market and world famous murals that illustrate the history of Chemainus. Also Live Dinner Theatre, golfing, hiking trails. You may want to take a day trip to Thetis Island. This ferry is 1 block from my house. Lots of fun and adventure to be had in our beautiful little town on the sea.

Summary: Ad was misleading. You think you're getting an upstairs sunny balcony with 2 chairs, but you get a basement suite which is dark, damp and the view of an unkept fenced area. There’s a dangerous entrance with loose bricks held with spikes to trip on. It was clean and centrally located but we would not recommend this place.
