Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Good location not far from Westbahnhof station. Clear and easy-to-follow instructions regarding the keys. Separate bedrooms. Nothing is new, but it's more or less clean. Tram stops are practically right outside the building. There are places to eat and buy groceries nearby. Manager let us check out at 11 insted of 10 when we asked.

Negative: An old building, probably from the early 20th century, located in a working-class neighborhood. The overall condition is gloomy and not fresh, with windows facing an inner courtyard. I booked a 4-bedroom apartment for 3 people, but it turned out that only 3 bedrooms were unlocked. The company’s response was: 'Because there are 3 guests.' However, I wanted to have the option to choose, as one of the rooms had an unbearable smell and the mattress quality was poor. In the wardrobe of the big bedroom, I found laundry products in open containers and even paint. I took them out and opened the windows. But I had to take allergy medication to be able to sleep there. I do appreciate the available laundry supplies — but why are they stored in the bedroom? Besides the laundry products, the wardrobe was full of toilet paper and bed linens, so it's not usable for clothes. That’s not a big issue for just two nights, but the chemical smell was really bad. So actually I got only 2 bedrooms and one storage room with a bed, even if I booked 4 bedrooms apartment for 3 people. Manager responded that can open other room next day, why it was not open from the begining I don't understand.

Summary: ok for a short stay for 3+ people — just make sure they removed laundry detergents from the bedroom
