Positive: It is in the absolute perfect location! A short and easy walk down the street to an uncrowded stretch of Holmes Beach, and an equally short and easy walk to a string of shopping plazas with wonderful local shops and restaurants. (I highly recommend The Freckled Fin Irish Pub for food and Small Town Creamery for ice cream and fudge and other sweet treats!) We also loved the comfort of the home, with plush beds and an awesome master bathroom shower! To top it off, the private pool - which is not shared by anyone else - is extremely nice, especially in the evenings when the ample foliage creates a nice shade against the harsh Floridian sun.

Negative: A few minor maintenance issues (a frayed extension cord plugged in behind the bed, a wonky front door knob, an apparent short in the pool lighting causing it to blink on and immediately back off) detracted from an otherwise excellent rental home. These small issues were only really noticeable in contrast to the otherwise stellar accommodations.
